Meal Plan Instructions
- Click Meal Plans menu tab on the left.
- Select Add/Change Meal Plan.
- Review and acknowledge Terms and Conditions if prompted to do so.
- Choose a term you would like to modify.
- This page will show you the Meal Plan you currently have. To add, change, or remove your Meal Plan, click Manage.
Add Meal Plan
- Click Add and your meal plan options will appear.
- Select plan you would like to enroll in.
- You will be shown the plan cost and the charge will appear on your student account.
- Click "Confirm".
Change Meal Plan
- To make a change, click "Change". Unlimited changes are able to be made until August 29th. From August 30th through September 13th, only one Meal Plan change is permitted. The following options are available:
- First-year students can choose between the 20/Weekly or Flex 460 meal plans.
- Second-year students can choose between five meal plans: 20/Weekly, 14/Weekly, Flex 460, or Flex 330.
- Third-Year, Fourth-Year, Medical, Graduate, and Returning Undergraduate Education (RUE) students may select most meal plans that Brown Dining Services offers.
- Off Campus students have access to all meal plans (excluding Dual Degree plans) that Dining Services offers as well as the Flex 70 meal plan.
- By clicking the down arrow, you will be able to see available meal plans, meal plan costs, and the meals and points included with each plan.
- After selecting a meal plan change, the next screen shows the credit you will receive and the new charge you will incur if you proceed with the transaction. If you are adding a plan for the first time, you will be shown the plan cost and the charge will appear on your student account. Any additional fees will also be displayed if applicable. Click "Confirm".
To Cancel Meal Plan
- Click "Remove" meal plan if you would like to cancel your meal plan. CANCELLATIONS CANNOT BE MADE AFTER THE CANCELLATION DEADLINE EACH YEAR. Please refer to our website at dining.brown.edu for important dates and deadlines regarding your meal plan.
- Third-year, Fourth-year, Medical, Graduate, and Returning Undergraduate Education (RUE) students are eligible to cancel their meal plan. First and second-year students must be enrolled in a meal plan.
